The students have started learning about mental health. Over the past few weeks they have learned about a few mental health conditions. They have also learned about sigmas and how truly devastating it can be to a person. To illustrate this new found knowledge, the students composed a PSA about stigmas and how to prevent them.
During the filming stage, the students learned about stage combat and how to perform stunts in a safe manner to protect themselves on set.

DIVAS (Digital Interactive Visual Arts Sciences) for Social Justice aims to bridge the digital divide by combining media literacy and cultural awareness along with a vast understanding of technology to encourage young women in under served communities to pursue careers in computer science and new media.
