Seventh and Eighth grade students at Linden SDA put their journalism skills to the test with an intense journalism research challenge. Broadcasting news in front of a camera is all fun and games but how much work does it take to build the stories?
Students were divided into groups to research as much facts as possible about recent NY news, a freezing chihuahua being saved from a car. Students raced the clock to gather all the facts they need to thoroughly broadcast the story. Each group then drafted cue cards to assist broadcasters in the report. The next level of the challenge is all about lights, camera, action!
