The digital media class is about ready to begin shooting their television commercial. If you haven’t been following our updates, we are planning to make a commercial for a local business as our class project. To prepare for that, we are making our own mock-commercial for a business idea that the students created. All of the students created storyboards and scripts for their own businesses and commercials. Below you can see the commercial storyboard and flyer for the winner of the competition, Jaden’s Noodles, a noodle restaurant imagined by Jaden Pilgrim. We will be begin filming shortly!

DIVAS (Digital Interactive Visual Arts Sciences) for Social Justice aims to bridge the digital divide by combining media literacy and cultural awareness along with a vast understanding of technology to encourage young women in under served communities to pursue careers in computer science and new media.
