The animation phase has successfully begun, all the students have finished part 1 of the first stage of the animation process by successfully completing their garden bed. They have all created this garden bed simply by transforming a cube, changing it into a rectangle, deleting the parts that’s not needed and adding color to it. The students have created 1 garden bed so far and for the next phase, will be to transform a sphere into a flower, then they will duplicate enough flowers to fill the garden bed and last of the 1st stage would be to duplicate the garden beds filled with flowers until they have 6.
DIVAS (Digital Interactive Visual Arts Sciences) for Social Justice aims to bridge the digital divide by combining media literacy and cultural awareness along with a vast understanding of technology to encourage young women in under served communities to pursue careers in computer science and new media.
