The BSMART News Team is back in full effect and ready to take on 2018 with excitement and fresh new stories. The team members pitched a series of story ideas ranging from New Year’s resolutions, ways to better help the community in 2018 and breaking stigmas associated with mental health challenges. This year, the students seek to learn more, do more as they do their part to improve their community and school.
DIVAS (Digital Interactive Visual Arts Sciences) for Social Justice aims to bridge the digital divide by combining media literacy and cultural awareness along with a vast understanding of technology to encourage young women in under served communities to pursue careers in computer science and new media.
