As the sixth grade 3D printing class has closed off the audio and visual logistics of the stop motion animation video they’ve been planning, they finally got to filming this week. They realized quickly that the setting up of scenes takes much more time than the physical filming, so they split up into groups and delved into the task at hand using teamwork. They were able to complete five scenes of the video working together, using both classroom tools and the 3D printed pieces they had designed as their props.
They also worked on compiling the voiceover for editing, and fixing any problems they had with the scenery/backdrop for the video. Because of the time they had, the class had to work together to all of the scenes efficiently and precisely, and their facilitator is very proud to say that they did.
