What an energetic bunch this is!!! We have been having a blast with these lessons as of late. I’ve been trying to keep things fresh by mixing in different activities and the kids have responded positively. Even when our activities have been more exercise based the kids have been willing participants. It has been really fun working with them and I look forward to the rest of the year.
DIVAS (Digital Interactive Visual Arts Sciences) for Social Justice aims to bridge the digital divide by combining media literacy and cultural awareness along with a vast understanding of technology to encourage young women in under served communities to pursue careers in computer science and new media.
