Throughout January, the 3D students focused on the topic of Identity. They set out to explore what the questions:
The students wrote personal narratives pointing out key factors that played a role in shaping how they see themselves. Using their personal narratives, the students were tasked with constructing a symbol they felt best represented them.

DIVAS (Digital Interactive Visual Arts Sciences) for Social Justice aims to bridge the digital divide by combining media literacy and cultural awareness along with a vast understanding of technology to encourage young women in under served communities to pursue careers in computer science and new media.
