The School Year is winding down and the kids energy is certainly reflecting that. It’s been a long year and they have been working hard. I look back at everything we’ve done from podcasts to science projects to community clean ups and I’m overwhelmed with how much we’ve accomplished together. It has been a privilege growing with these kids and seeing the progress they’ve made. I look forward to finishing the year out strong!!!!
DIVAS (Digital Interactive Visual Arts Sciences) for Social Justice aims to bridge the digital divide by combining media literacy and cultural awareness along with a vast understanding of technology to encourage young women in under served communities to pursue careers in computer science and new media.
