After the momentous success of STEAM’s Professional Development day, the sixth and seventh graders briefly celebrated their success. However, they got back to work–there is still work to be done.
In May, a ten-member team of the sixth and seventh graders will participate in a 3D printing competition hosted by the Rego Park Green Alliance, and they are eager to compete.
Their task is to design and build a board game, using the 3D application SketchUp to design the pieces. Being skilled at using the application, it is not a large task for them to design the pieces. They have finished designing the game cards for their board game, which is fitness oriented and called “WorkOut!”.
The CC3DP challenge team is eager to continue working on their new project, and confident that it will prove to be a success and hopefully, a victory.
