This week the students are working on LED protest posters with the theme of water. In the first lesson, the students worked on the placement and design of the letters. The students broke up into 3 groups and made 3 iterations of the poster. In the first iteration, the students drew and decorated the page. After they were asked, “How can this design be made better?” In the second iteration students were encouraged to use rulers to space out each letter so that they were perfectly aligned. In the last iteration, students created grids using their rulers to make the designs again and they looked amazing! Stay tuned for the LED placement.
