The students at the Macon Library location were asked to design their own Logos, the approach that they were asked to take was to create their logos based on text only, no symbols just to simplify the process. They were asked them to do three different sketches on a piece of paper and I was responsible to choose one the following that would be computerized. Furthermore, it was up to the students to choose the fonts, color and placement of the text.

DIVAS (Digital Interactive Visual Arts Sciences) for Social Justice aims to bridge the digital divide by combining media literacy and cultural awareness along with a vast understanding of technology to encourage young women in under served communities to pursue careers in computer science and new media.
