Last week we took a trip to 462 Halsey Street. There the students took notes and answered questions about the space. They learned how to use Ricoh Theta, which is a 360 video camera and took pictures on the DSLR camera. Following the trip, students learned about vertical farms and gardens. Their challenge is to create a vertical farm that can also be a space for affordable housing. The student have also watched 360 videos, to help them create a shot list for the final video.
In the next weeks, the students will interview one of the Community Farmers using the Ricoh Theta. They will also complete their designs for indoor affordable housing and community farms.
