The photographers became models and the models became photographers as Brooklyn students manually created photo booth strips. Inspired by MTV TRL’s classic celebrity photo booth, the students partnered up to express a minimum of 4 different emotions in one still shot. Then, to practice their photography editing skills, each pair had to place their images into a 4-block strip.

DIVAS (Digital Interactive Visual Arts Sciences) for Social Justice aims to bridge the digital divide by combining media literacy and cultural awareness along with a vast understanding of technology to encourage young women in under served communities to pursue careers in computer science and new media.
