The STEAM engineers at Brooklyn Macon Library explored ways in which photography can capture and share emotions. The students searched their neighborhood to find aspects of it that make them feel various emotions. Feelings of nostalgia, excitement, and calm sparked as the camera shutters clicked.
The FDNY even allowed the young photographers to tour the fire station for photo opportunities.
The students were then tasked to hone their focus on examples of love being spread in the community. From a man petting his dog to friends sharing a laugh at lunch, the photographers discovered that spreading love is definitely the Brooklyn way!
