At the Macon Library Location, students have been working hard to complete their websites and they are now in the final stages. The final steps in the web design process are adding content and ensuring that certain things work. Furthermore, one of the things to check for on their websites that they need to make sure work is, their contact form that can be found on their contact page. The messages from the contact form has to go to the email address that they provide and that is one of the things that some of the students did.
DIVAS (Digital Interactive Visual Arts Sciences) for Social Justice aims to bridge the digital divide by combining media literacy and cultural awareness along with a vast understanding of technology to encourage young women in under served communities to pursue careers in computer science and new media.
