The P.S 156 News Team are making great strides in learning podcasting. With the support of Mrs. Hargrove and DIVAS for Social Justice students have begun to develop their stories about their fondest memories growing up in Laurelton. Their memories will be featured at Laurelton.nyc and will be part of the “I Grew Up In Laurelton Podcast”. In addition, the students interviewed Jordan Bishop of Councilman Donovan Richards office. Jordan Bishop has lived in Laurelton for over 20 years and graduated from P.S 156. He shared some of his memories going to P.S 156 from the 6th grade prom to his worst day at P.S 156, September 11, 2001. There were so many great elements captured by the students for this piece that the production team needs to carefully produce the final edit .
