On this episode of Trey Way for the segment Kid Kanda, we interviewed Trey Whitfield Principal and Social Studies teacher Ms. Johnson. We talked about her childhood, her love for teaching, and how she was given the opportunity to become the Boss Lady of Trey Whitfield. We also discussed some of the people who helped her become the woman she is today.
DIVAS (Digital Interactive Visual Arts Sciences) for Social Justice aims to bridge the digital divide by combining media literacy and cultural awareness along with a vast understanding of technology to encourage young women in under served communities to pursue careers in computer science and new media.
