MOTIVATION AND GROWTH MINDSETS

When working with the students, I’ve noticed a few of them were complaining and making negative comments about their weight and due to it, they weren’t capable of completing the activities. So to help overcome this mindset, I thought it would be a good idea to show the students visuals of individuals who were considered “plus-size” and of different sizes doing the exercise positions to ensure that size doesn’t matter in the aspect of doing Yoga or some kind of Physical Activity. In order to achieve ones’ goals, you have to put your mind to them and get rid of that negative “I can’t do this” thought process and change it to a positive mindset of “I can do this”.
