In this project, students became familiar with building basics used by engineers and architects to design some of the worlds largest and tallest skyscrapers and buildings. Working independently or as a pair or team, they planned, designed and built their own structures
using index cards. The students were only allowed to fold, cut or bend to create a free standing structure. Our friends glue and tape were not invited to this party and the challenge was real!! By the look of things, I’d say we may have a few future architects in the making!
