After several weeks of web design when have students who have stuck it out and worked very hard and is now at this stage where I can declare that their websites have been completed. These students have taken this opportunity to design their websites for a cause and that is their driving force for this whole process. We also have a couple of incomplete websites that i would be happy to help the students with if they dedicate the time.
I am very proud of all of you and I am happy that I was able to work with you, congrats on completing your websites.
DIVAS (Digital Interactive Visual Arts Sciences) for Social Justice aims to bridge the digital divide by combining media literacy and cultural awareness along with a vast understanding of technology to encourage young women in under served communities to pursue careers in computer science and new media.
